Advisor & Marketing Expert
Joe is CEO of HypnoVision Media and serves in an important advisory role to SilverPepper as a brand and marketing expert. Joe’s advisory role is centered on finding the most concise and entertaining ways to explain SilverPepper and our Funds’ investment strategies to “The Rest Of Us.” Joe’s approach to educating investors draws from his 27 years as a Hollywood Writer-Producer, including serving on the writing staffs of three of the Writers Guild of America’s “101 Best Written TV Series”: L.A. Law, Law & Order, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In 2014, Joe wrote and Executive Produced SilverPepper’s Short Films, which competed against the budgets and talents of 438 of the biggest financial companies of Wall Street, and the best advertising agencies of Madison Avenue, at the prestigious Financial Communications Society Portfolio Awards — and won Gold, besting second place finisher and Olympic sponsor, VISA. In 2017, Joe’s creative work on the “SilverPepper of the Stars” email campaign – which alerted investors to the SilverPepper Funds’ strong risk-adjusted performance – competed at the Web Marketing Association’s Internet Advertising Competition, and won its IAC Award for “Best Mutual Fund Email Message Campaign.”
Joe received his A.B. from Dartmouth College, and his J.D. from Columbia Law School. He is a Fulbright Scholar. Joe most recently served in Germany as Senior Lecturer, Screenwriting, at Met Film School Berlin, and as Professor at the international film school.
